Wednesday, July 26-Friday, July 28; 6:00 pm-8:00 pm
LOCATION:
Nave Gallery Annex, 53 Chester St, Somerville, MA
DESCRIPTION:
For two weeks in July, we are turning the Nave Gallery Annex over to folks with something to say.
Participants can:
– Use a typewriter to write and address a NOTE to anyone (we are thinking politicians and elected officials, but feel free to write a neighbor, lover, etc.)
– Hang your message on the gallery walls (we will mail them at the exhibition end)
– Visual messages are welcome. Bring a drawing or make one with the supplies provided. Again it will be hung on the walls and mailed if addressed at the exhibition end.
– Songs of protest (yes, we are thinking of politicians) Bring your favorite vinyl to play while you work.
The gallery will provide typewriters and a turntable. Limited refreshments will be provided. Absolutely free although donations are welcome to cover costs
