WHAT’S HAPPENING:
The Clarendon Hill Presbyterian Church and Nave Gallery invite you to a panel discussion on refugee communities in the Middle East and Africa.
We welcome the following panelists:
-Hilary Rantisi, Director, Middle East Initiative, Harvard Kennedy School
-Amahl Bishara, Associate Professor of Anthropology, Tufts University
-Hodan Osman, Student, Harvard Kennedy School
Ayman Halaseh and Shirin Haddadin will give a brief presentation about the “Science day for Refugees Project” they conduct in the Zaatari Syrian Refugee camp in Jordan
Free and open to the public. All are welcome.
A reception will be held at 5:00 pm in the Nave Gallery
This event is part of the “Learn to Talk” social justice series organized by the Clarendon Hill Presbyterian Church, in partnership with the Nave Gallery and our current exhibition: Wall to Wall II:Working Together.
Once a year, the Nave Gallery collaborates with the Clarendon Hill Presbyterian Church to host a social justice series, underscoring the assertion that art is a vehicle through which conversations on social change can be held, compelling people to action.
