Michael Hastings
With all the street smarts that a true troubadour should posses, Mike Hastings proudly wears the title. A singer / songwriter from Somerville, he is known for his love of street performing around Boston with acoustic guitar and voice and as the leader of the Mike Hastings Band performing original roots rock in some of Boston’s best neighborhood venues. Mike’s soulful vocal delivery and eclectic compositions always make for a unique and moving show, for moving your body and for moving your heart.
Amy Kucharik
Amy Kucharik is a singer-songwriter based in Somerville, MA known for sweet ukulele sounds and sassy lyrics, delivered with a voice and style that recalls early jazz and blues performers. Amy has performed at venues in Somerville, Cambridge, and the greater Boston area as well as Philadelphia, Baltimore, Dallas and St. Louis. Her band, Friends (With Benefits) [9], released an EP, Dance Crush Blues [10], in 2013 (available on Bandcamp.com), and her first full-length CD is due in April 2014.
Steve Subrizi
Steve Subrizi is a poet and singer-songwriter from Somerville, MA, who writes songs in the punk-peripheral tradition of Jonathan Richman, Elvis Costello, and Morrissey. He and Kirsten Opstad once formed The Crazy Exes From Hell, who dealt in “really agitated–and really funny–breakup songs” (Dan Bolles, Seven Days). His 2013 debut studio album, _Home Alone Forever_, has been called “deliriously offbeat…strange and wonderful” (Victor Infante, _Worcester Telegram & Gazette_).
