Linear Notions brings together the work of Adria Arch and Francis Domec. Despite working to opposing muses (Arch’s work emerges from a long process that starts with doodles she makes as part of her every day urban life; Domec draws his inspiration from nature), certain similarities appear when their art is hung in proximity to each other: strong, yet flat colors; lack of depth of field; seemingly abstract patterning. Linear Notions is a dialogue between two artists absorbed with shape, color and line.
