DATE & TIME:
Tuesday, May 26, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm
LOCATION:
Nave Gallery Annex (Davis Square), 53 Chester St, Somerville, MA
Please note: seating at the Annex is limited and needs to be planned for. Please contact tori(dot)costa(at)gmail(dot)com to confirm your RSVP.
WHAT’S HAPPENING:
Bring your needles and your yarn enthusiasm, and join a group of folks who are busy making a difference–and having fun while doing so!
Each November, the Nave Gallery hosts Wrap Around, a sale of affordable handmade woolen goods to support the Somerville Homeless Coalition (SHC). All proceeds help fund the amazing work that SHC does, and anything not sold is donated to them.
The mission of this group, if you choose to accept, is to meet monthly at one of Somerville’s hot spots, chat with very cool people, and knit, crochet, or create items for next November’s sale. This is a really fun way to get your craft on and help keep someone warm during our very cold winters.
CONTENT ADVISORY: Our current exhibition is called Naked, and is a show on nude photography. If this subject matter makes you uncomfortable, you may wish to skip this particular Knit & Sip.
