ABOUT THE CURATOR:
Liz Helfer is a sculptor known primarily for her work with bronze and cast iron. Liz graduated with her BFA in 2010 from Alfred University. She has continued her artistic development through work in the United States and Europe. She has recently dipped a toe into curatorial waters and is fascinated by the confluence of contemporary art practice and the mediation of perception in our technological age. She currently creates cast metal and mixed media sculpture at her studio in Cambridge, MA.
