This special community panel discussion will feature Somerville Mayor Joseph Curatone, Prof. Susan Akram, Boston University, Ben Echevarria, Executive Director, Somerville Welcome Project and Somerville Alderman, Wilfred Mbah.
Crossing the Line: In Search of Sanctuary, is the fifth in a series of annual programs focused on social justice issues presented by the Nave Gallery in partnership with the Clarendon Hill Presbyterian Church. In addition to the Gallery show, Clarendon Hill Church presents Learn to Talk, a series of events highlighting issues related to immigration and social justice. In addition, a special exhibition, Art in Exile: Works from Syrian Refugee Camps, is hosted in the church sanctuary.

Nave Gallery (Teele Square), 155 Powder House Blvd, Somerville, MA
Please note parking is available in the West Somerville Neighborhood School on weekends. Lot is located on Raymond St. Turn right at intersection of Powderhouse & Curtis onto Curtis and take your first left onto Raymond. Lot is located about 1 block down.
