Dealing with Addiction: Author’s Talk with Dianne C. Braley
DATE/TIME:
Saturday, November 12; 3:00 pm
LOCATION:
Nave Gallery (Teele Square), 155 Powder House Blvd, Somerville, MA
WHAT’S HAPPENING:
Revere native Dianne C. Braley, will be reading from her two books “Unheard Whispers” and “The Silence in the Sound”, her recently published award-winning novel.
Dianne found love for the written word early on in life while trying to escape hers, growing up in the turbulent world of alcoholism. After a career as a registered nurse, she found her passion again while working on Martha’s Vineyard as a private nurse to a famous author who became her friend and motivator. Both her books reflect on the devastation that addiction and dysfunction have on children and families affected by this horrific disease.
Please join us in the gallery to hear her stories of dealing with addiction. This is part of the Every Picture Tells a Story exhibition.
