SUPPLIES NEEDED:
We will have limited supplies on hand for those who do not have materials. If you need watercolor paper or brushes from the instructor, please know that we will ask for a $10.00 donation to support the Somerville Homeless Coalition.
Please bring the following:
-Watercolor pad or paper. If you are bringing individual sheets of paper, it is helpful to bring some sort of hard board surface that can risk being masking-taped and coffee stained
– A thin/fine brush (the sort that comes with a children’s watercolor box would work)
– A way to safely get the finished product home, after it’s at least dried enough to not run (Your own watercolor pad, and a plastic bag to put that in, is preferred.)
– Coffee mug. (for the initial coffee ring to make the mandala
We will supply:
– Coffee; If you want to bring your own painting coffee, it should be unadulterated & undiluted; no cream, sweetener, spices or ice. It does not need to be hot. If you want to bring burnt old diner coffee, it probably paints nice & dark
