During the months of February and March, first year MFA graduate students display work in sites in and around Boston. Five SMFA artists, Junyuan Feng, Penghuan Guo, Robin Levine, Phoebe Stone and Mengran Wang will be exhibiting their work at the Nave Gallery.

SMFA MFA ARTISTS:
Junyuan Feng received his BS in physics in China and is currently an MFA student at SMFA/Tufts. He integrates photography, installation, video, performance and printed media to address historical and political discourses in contemporary art institutions and in cultural flows between the East and the West.
Penghuan Guo received her BFA in painting from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology in 2015. Currently, she is an MFA candidate at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Her work in painting, installation and photography exposes instructional and social/psychological problems in China.
Robin Levine received her BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, and obtained her MS in Art History from the Pratt Institute in New York City. She is currently completing her Masters in Fine Art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She has exhibited both in New York and Massachusetts, including the A.I.F. Gallery in Brooklyn and the Chashma Gallery in NY.
Phoebe Stone received her A.B. from Harvard University in 2010. She is now at the School of Museum of Fine Arts, Boston working toward an MFA. Her work has a strong focus on the landscape as well as the process of painting.
Mengran Wang was born in Hebei, China, and is currently studying at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Her work, consisting of painting, drawing, and sculptural installation, speaks to equality and respect among creatures.
