WHAT’S HAPPENING:
Stretching deeper into our interest in collaborative work that looks at the forgotten, less visible space beneath the surface, Excavate will perform a new piece we are calling “Quotidian Wonder”. A meditation on everyday objects and the relationships we form around them, “Quotidian Wonder” is in a constant state of change as we explore the magic of the day-to-day. How might we break apart our habitual patterns to see them in a new way? As a collective, we challenge ourselves to stay in the unknown of what we find, get messy with questions and dust and somehow make art there. We share our work as an offering and a peek into deeply understood, but perhaps rarely discussed modes of our humanity.

“Quotidian Wonder” is part of the current exhibition, Wall to Wall II:Working Together, at the Nave Gallery.
