Visual Artists Re-envision the Container
An exhibition of fiber work in response to Ursula Le Guin’s Carrier Bag of Fiction (or Art) essay. The theory suggests that the first tool may not have been a sharp and pointy aggressive implement but instead a useful vessel for carrying berries, potatoes or babies.
This exhibition is part of Gather, a month-long exploration and celebration of fiber art in Greater Boston.
