2015 marks the 10th anniversary of the HONK! Festival of Activist Street Bands in Somerville. Several thousand musicians have participated, in bands coming from around the neighborhood and around the world. As a testament to the festival’s popularity and growth, kindred festivals have sprung up — in Austin, Seattle, Detroit, Providence, New York City, and in 2015 for the first time HONK!Oz in Australia and HONK!Rio in Brazil. In statements, photographs, posters and memorabilia, this exhibit will describe HONK! AROUND THE WORLD.
