Mod Talk: Flipped Lens to Full-On Frankencamera!

WHAT”S HAPPENING:
Camera mods (modifications) can be as simple as flipping the lens in a Brownie Hawkeye or turning a Holga into a pinhole camera, or more complex, like creating in-camera masks, adding DIY cable release mechanisms or “fat roll”-prevention systems.

STCF co-organizers Jim and Bonnie host this open discussion/demo — we’ll show how a few of our favorites were done, and invite attendees to share their own mods. Whether you’re an inveterate tinkerer who can’t seem to leave well enough alone when it comes to cameras, or you’re just learning about the possibilities of camera modification, this session is sure to satisfy!
